Subject: Say No to Schultz Mansion Purchase

Dear 950 Fifth Ave. Co-op Members,

I write to express my opposition to the application of Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz for a $25-$30 million apartment in your Manhattan building. As a supporter of the right of Starbucks workers and coffee farmers to organize a union and earn a living wage, I can assure you that your building would become a frequent venue for First Amendment activity should Chairman Schultz move in.

Schultz's Starbucks is a poverty-wage employer that is engaged in an illegal union-busting operation for which it has been cited on multiple occasions by the National Labor Relations Board. Instead of buying multi-million dollar mansions, Schultz should get over his tremendous hostility for labor unions and pay Starbucks workers a wage they can live on.

Thank you for your consideration.
