Workers of the World Unite??

I see that there is a movement to unionize in New Zealand, but since there are starbucks all over the world, are union movements forming elsewhere? I am specifically curious about unions outside of the english-speaking world. It would be great it there could be a strong network of solidarity for starbucks employees working for unionization across the world. But, from what I can tell about Starbucks Workers Union, it is focused only on the US unionization, correct?

That would be incorrect. The IWW orginizes peoples all over the world and the Starbucks Union drive is open to all who wish to be a part.

It is true however that this site began as an extesion of the orginizing in NYC, but it does in no way fallow that this sites scope must or should end there. In fact all starbucks worker union members are strengthened with each aditional union member regardless of which starbucks they belong in this global corporation. Perhaps this will be the first suckessfull transnatinal orginizing campain of a multinatinal corperation.
